Their fruit offers a unique mineral complexity that could come from no other place on earth and has done so since Carthusian monks first planted vines in Priorat in the 12th century.

Cherry red with violet hues of medium and high intensity
Fresh and fruit. Notes of fresh and ripe red and black fruits. plus fine floral and forest herbs with balsamic.
Well-balanced structure and acidity. Fruity texture and fine tannins. Aftertaste with fruity hints and balsamic and spicy notes.
Any grilled meat, specially pork and chicken. Vegetable and mountain rice. Also recommended to drink it with pasta dishes or sautéed vegetables.
