Vines, like people, often reach their peak in the face of adversity. Our award-winning wines come from vines that struggle daily to survive in dense slate soils on steep hillsides. Their fruit offers a unique mineral complexity that could come from no other place on earth and has done so since Carthusian monks first planted vines in Priorat in the 12th century.

Dark red, with bright reddish-purple hues.
Fine and elegant aromatic expression. Black and red fruits, licorice, spices, forest herbs and menthol minerality. Great complexity, fresh and warm set at the same time
Explosive expression, repeating the notes found in the nose. Fresh, fine and elegant, with very soft tannins. Voluminous wine with great structure and acidity. Very aromatic and persistent finish.
Stewed oxtail, beef stew or game (hunting) meats such as wild boar. Baked lamb shoulder, beef fillet with foie, grilled ribeye or red meat stews. High-cured cheeses: Manchego, Parmesan, sheep, etc.
