About
Taking advantage of an ancient tradition of the winegrowers in Priorat that consisted of cultivating white grape vines among the black grape vines, we selected the white grape from the different plantations to produce Gran Clos Blanc, a coupage of White Grenache with a small portion of MacabeuVines, like people, often reach their peak in the face of adversity. Our award-winning wines come from vines that struggle daily to survive in dense slate soils on steep hillsides. Their fruit offers a unique mineral complexity that could come from no other place on earth and has done so since Carthusian monks first planted vines in Priorat in the 12th century.
